  Regarding the quantity of tumbling media to use, it is recommended that you fill the barrel with 50% to 70% of its total capacity. Avoid overloading the barrel with excessive media, as this can negatively affect the quality of the finished product.
  When too many workpieces and tumbling media are placed in the barrel, the available space for proper movement is greatly reduced. This causes the parts to bounce off one another, which can lead to damage. Therefore, overloading the barrel is both inappropriate and unwise.
